Learning while laughing
I'm Cheryl.

I took my first improv class at The Second City in Chicago in 2016 as a way of getting out of my comfort zone and trying something new. Before I knew it, I had completed all five levels of the improvisation program. As a Montessori educator with 20+ years of experience, I'm passionate about helping people reach their full potential through unique, engaging, and meaningful opportunities. I created after-school improvisational workshops as well as lessons in my classroom using improv. I believe in the transformative power of improvisation to enhance life skills, including the 4 C's of 21st-century skills: Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking, and Creativity. After all, life is all about improvising!

My Mission Statement
I strive to create a space of acceptance and respect where everyone feels safe and comfortable taking chances and being brave, open, and playful. I want to empower people to trust themselves and to be transformed by all the benefits of improv.
Have fun and BE YOU!
